Meet Walter

I’ve been working in tourism for the last 12 years, mostly as tour leader, and I’ve always looked at any possibility to improve my knowledge, working and living far from home. I am a very curious person, and love challenging myself with new adventures. Tour leading gives me the great opportunity to experience all of the above with like-minded people, offering my help and skills to inhance their experience.

Favourite thing about Tour Leading: Doing everything I can so the group have the best experience.

Favourite place to visit and why: I'm fascinated by places far away, rich in history and culture and as different as possible from where I am from. So far, Japan has been my favourite country to visit.

On the road tips: Have a plan, but be always ready for last minute changes!

Hobbies, achievements and dreams: In the last few years I've always tried to combine hobbies with achievement and dreams. I dreamed of visiting Japan, the achievement was to travel the country on a bicycle, which is one of my favourite hobbies. The result was a wonderful 5-months cycling trip around the country.
