With a sparkling curiosity and encouraged by a family of travelers, I started discovering new peoples and cultures from an early age and have been leading trips since 2016, accompanying small groups through Europe, Northern and Western Africa and Latin
America. Since 2024, I've also been lucky enough to lead Sundowners Overland's awe-inspiring trips in Central Asia and the Caucasus. I can't wait for you to join our caravan!
Favourite thing about Tour Leading: Seeing meaningful and empathetic relationships built throughout the journey, between fellow travelers and locals.
Favourite place to visit and why: A small traditional fishing village near the place I call home. It's a humble place where I reconnect with my inner self, where I appreciate and feel grateful for the life I have and where I realize that, beyond the great Atlantic, there
will be another fishing village or a special place somewhere on my next trip where I can feel just as at home.
On the road tips: Embrace difference, cultivate empathy and smile. Be adventurous and make the most of the experience: experiment, test, taste. After all, whether you like it or not is only the outcome of it.
Hobbies, achievements and dreams: I like to photograph with a 35mm film camera and create albums of my trips the old-fashioned way. I make collages from local newspapers, collect local currency notes and props, among other things which I add to the album. I also write down recipes for traditional dishes to try to reproduce at home. Not always successfully. I like to feel the sea salt breeze, whether surfing, ocean swimming or walking barefoot through sand and rocks.
