Since I was a child I started traveling around all Central Asia, and I very familiar with this area. I was born in Tashkent and consider myself as an oriental guy. I've travelled Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan,Turkmenistan and Tajikistan, and spent time in Xinjiang (Western China Turkestan). I crossed high mountain passes, and trekked in the High Pamir and Tien Shan Mountains. Exploring deserts and mountains is one of the greatest thing for me.
From 2012 to 2018 I was living, studying and working in China, so I know a lot about this beautiful country, besides I speak Chinese . Of course I love Russia , specially the Altai and Baikal regions. Beautiful places with unforgettable wild nature and magic views, which I suggest you all to go and see. As a member of the Sundowners Overland team I'll always will be happy to talk with you and tell you all what I know about all this regions. I’m always trying to know and learn more about this world, so I will be happy to listen your stories too.
Favourite thing about Tour Leading: I love to meet new interesting people from other countries. This job gives me this opportunity, so I am glad that I’m doing this job.
Favourite place to visit and why: I can’t tell you which country is my favorite, because I’m in love with whole world, which I never stop exploring . But for now I can say for sure that I love China. Beautiful country with completely different culture and way of live, Chinese people are very friendly, always smile and so happy to meet foreigners, especially in small towns and villages. China has 22 provinces. And in each of them they have different way of life.
Another interesting thing about this amazing country is food. A lot of people are hesitant to try Chinese food, but I can tell you for sure it’s very delicious, and every province, even every city, has different way of cooking. I will help you to choose most delicious dish. Also you have to try Chinese vodka which they call “Bai Jiu”. They believe that it’s help to live longer, maybe that’s why they have so many people who live more than 100 years . I will be happy to accompany you in tour around China, and share with you all my knowledge about this country.
On the road tips: Yes, definitely local food. You’ll love pelmeni (dumplings) with different fillings, borscht, blini (pancakes) and maybe even buckwheat porridge which is typical Russian. You’ll enjoy the mixture of pine and birch trees – wonderful forest we have long before and after the Ural Mountains. If you haven’t yet, try to read “The Doctor Zhivago” novel, it’ll add a lot to your understanding of Russian soul.
Hobbies, achievements and dreams: I love taking photos. And on each tour I always take a lot of photos, with our tourists, which send to everyone after. I'm always ready to help you at any time.
