Kerry has experience across five continents over three decades; a six-month journey on the back of a truck across Africa initiating her love of adventure travel. Just back from South America, there are very few places she has returned to more than twice, but Turkey, Georgia and Armenia are the exception - for the warmest of hospitality, culinary experiences and culture, dramatic landscapes, vibrant cosmopolitan cities and incredible architecture.

Travelling Asia since 1987, it was love at first sight on his first visit to the Caucasus in 2014 and he has returned over a dozen times since. “This is truly the crossroads of Asia & Europe. Roman, Russian, Byzantine, Persian, Mongol & Ottoman – all have left their legacy. However, throughout this most turbulent of histories it was the rich Georgian & Armenian cultures that prevailed. Their remarkable history is reflected in the unique food & flavours of the Caucasus, and when served with a generous ‘dash’ of their renowned hospitality and the stunning backdrop of the Caucasus Mountains – it can be an intoxicating recipe.”
